Apex roof side of house question about soffit access

so I haven’t yet looked at the job but a client wants me to fit spotlights in her soffits , I’ve often done front and back but never the apex , my question is will I be able to get the wiring into the attic ( I’ll make them up first and the drill my hole and pop them into the attic space for connection, ) my worry is that the brickwork of the apex is sealed or just blocked tight up , does anyone know if generally it’s open enough to push the cabling into the attic space ?

Do you mean at a gable? I think it will be tricky as you don't have easy access to the soffit on gables as its blocked by the rafters to a point and then the block work. It's probably doable but will be more work involved - also if its two story consider the height you will be at fitting the light (and changing bulbs in future) might not even be possible off a ladder.

yes you’re right it’s at the gable on the side of the house , I was afraid of that which is why I posted the question, all things considered I think might swerve this one ! Thanks very much for confirming what I thought ..
