How long is it taking to register property with Tailte Éireann / land Direct . I have three properties for which my solicitor has applied for registration using First Registration Form 1 and First Registration Form 3. dates are as follows 30/08/2023, 02/10/2023 and 19/02/2024. I am seeing To be Checked and Awaiting Attention. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

It can take years. You would be lucky to get a first registration done in 12 months.

The form 3 application will complete in a much shorter time frame than the Form 1 application. This is because in a Form 3 application the Solicitor has certified the title to the land registry themselves. In a Form 1 application the Land Registry has to investigate all the the Documents sent in by your solicitor. As the other poster has said it can take years.

anyone any information on Tailte Éireann being hacked. Trying to buy planning pack for the past two weeks and now only seeing it reported on RTE online that they were hacked.
