A good Broker will know which lender might suit you and importantly which won't.

Going direct might risk getting declined.

    Costs are very similar.

    Use 3 routes.

    1. Use comparison websites such as CCPC.ie to compare direct rates.

    2. Use a broker such as Doddle.ie which is fully online.

    3. Check out your local credit union rates.

Go with the lowest rate for the optimal term for you.

broker if you are a weird case. Direct if not.

Do the brokers still have their own application forms that they use with all the lenders? Less hassle than filling out forms for each individual lender. Also, I think Avant only sells through brokers.

The likes of Avant and Finance Ireland only deal through brokers, so you're better of going with one so you can have the full range of offers.

Avant and especially Finance Ireland are no longer a realistic option with their interest rates where they are, no?
