Has anyone played any of these courses recently? Just wondering how they've coped with all the rain. We're planning a trip east at the start of April but questioning whether it'll be a slog and whether we'd be better heading for a links instead. Thanks.

Played Killeen Castle a fortnight ago.
The rough was as good as unplayable on many of the holes (plug, squish, plop). But the fairways and greens were superb. 30-40 yards of run in places.

Played the Monty a couple of weeks. Was alot softer than this time last year when it was in perfect nick. But fairways for the most part were excellent. Just run off areas very soft. Wasnt a slog though, enjoyed it compared to any parklands I've played recently.
