Budget Soundbar Recommendation

Good Morning Looking for your recommendations for a budget Soundbar - to go with Sony 43 inch tv - Budget around 200- 300 euros. Got a Cambridge sound bar off ye 11 years ago : ) its finally showing its age when watching top Gun Maverick at the weekend !! TV is for general usage but would like clearer speech and deep base for movies if posisble Looking forward to your recommendations

If you're looking for a good budget soundbar we actually have a great deal on the Wharfedale Vista 200S soundbar which has a wireless subwoofer so would give great bass. It's currently down to 199.95 euro:

If you're looking for something a little better though the Denon DHTS416 would be my first choice - again it has a wireless subwoofer with it but a much more refined sound with better virtual surround. We had one on display and it was amazing:

Unfortunately the Q600C is an instore only collection and can not be shipped.

It has been already reduced down from £499 / €599 on the 22nd which has now made it uneconomical to ship unfortunately.

Unfortunately there are a few items that can not be delivered and must be collected from our Belfast store and the Samsung Q600C is one of them.

Usually if there is no "Buy It Now" button on the product page then it will be out of stock or can not be shipped.

We ship daily to the south of Ireland on the majority of our items.

Can I ask. The instructions say that the subwoofer should be adjacent to the soundbar but my previous one had it on the other side of the room.

Which should it be?

Thanks for the post Micky D,

Subs are usually omni directional unlike the bar itself so you can put it either beside the TV or you can have it on the other side of the room. If you try it in your original position and see what you think of the sound first of all. There's a small possibility you may have to move it to beside the TV as there are no phase controls on the soundbar subwoofers so it may not be ideal but try it out first and see if it works for you.
