    Yeah all of those 13k reviews are from real people and not bot generated lol.

    Your public ip is probably being used for shady stuff at the very least. It might be used for criminal activity too. (Child porn, cyber fraud such as invoice redirection etc,)

    Id bet that as part of their t's and c's they dont allow you to use your own vpn client.

    For non techy people the best way i can describe this is its like letting a burglary gang borrow your car and taking money for it. Even if they dont commit an actual burglary.
