I have a 00 Corolla which I drive to and from work. If I don't drive it Saturday or Sunday, the battery drains down and I may need to jump start.

I replaced the battery about a year ago but issues have persisted.

Would this be a case or a parasitic drain or is this just an old car issue.

I sometimes use a 152 mazda 2 that is parked up a lot of the time and it will always start

Could be a little thing like a faulty boot light switch.

Alternator probs or loose belt, if you can put a multimeter (20v) across battery poles with engine running and reading at least 13 volts.

Ideally you want someone who knows how to use a multimeter and put it in current mode with doors and bonnet locket etc and see if there is a draw still on e everything has gone to sleep.
