Large android tablet for PDFs

I'm looking for a large android tablet for reading pdf(s) . I found a possible solution with Xiaomi pad 6 max. Unfortunately it only seems to be available (that I can see from) tradingshenzhen. Will I be hit for customs/duty/vats if I buy from them?

I should have said. I have a Lenovo p11 (gen 2). It's an 11.5" screen and PDFs are still too cramped

They have the standard version. OP is looking at the Max version which is listed as being a Chinese only version. @romperstomper You could indeed end up paying extra taxes if coming from China. Could end up being an expensive tablet. Not only that, there may or may not be English translations on the apps installed if you did go down that route.

Samsung S9 fe+ is 12.4" and might not be a bad option but it is $599 in the US and 799e over here

Have you thought of E-ink tablets? They would probably be better for pure reading.

I bought and returned the remarkable2 for size reasons. PDF resizing messes up graphs and equations

Turns out Fujitsu quaderno a4 (gen 2) fits the bill. Tricky to get outside of Japan though. :/

There is a used one on Mercari for €310, which seems like a great deal compared to even Aliexpress. eBay appears to be another easy route to acquire from Japan.

You get stung by Revenue here but if you can get a good price on the Japan side, which is often the case, the price can end up being reasonable.

Lenovo Duet 5 is 12.4" too if android is vital.

Lenovo Flex 5 however is 16".and folds to tablet form. Windows OS.
