Projector advice

Hi

Looking for a projector that meets the following criteria (my old optoma hd230x finally gave up after 12 years of service!) :

Price < €2k

4K, 3D

Will be used in a dark room, primarily for movies

Screen size around 90 inches

Throw distance max 10 feet

Screen is actually an Ikea black out blind which seemed to work quite well !

The Benq w2710i seems a well reviewed option, apart from some minor criticism of black levels/contrast..

What would you recommend in this price range ?

The Benq W2710i is a good choice and does tick all your boxes.

Above the 2710i is the LG HU810P coming in at €2199 but it does not have 3D

Hi Kenny,

Thanks for coming back on this.. I also noticed you have the Benq X3000i, which is described as a gaming projector, but seems to get good all round reviews.. its a bit brighter, LED so no lamp replacement.. any thoughts on this one compared to W2710i ?

What would be your best price on these delivered to Dublin ?

The 3000i would be a few steps up on the 2710i and if you can stretch to the €2399 then this would be the one to go for.

As you say with it being LED there will be no bulb changing and it produces a brighter image and overall better picture quality.

I could sweeten the price a little and offer at €2359 delivered and it includes our VIP 6 year guarantee free of charge.
