Sna move from primary to etb job share

Hi folks,

Asking for a friend.. currently in a primary school full time sna for few years now. Relatively senior in terms of sna's having joined after. Thinking of applying for a sna in an etb school which is a job share. Trying to find out the implications to pay, pension, seniority etc.. currently paid from dept of education.. is it a different arrangement in an etb? Will they loose their seniority if they move in terms of last in first out? How does the pay level translate? Would they be back to level one pay etc?

Who can you talk to re salary?

Pay level will remain the same. Taking a risk in terms of job security however. If the jobshare partner decides to return full time your friend will be left without a job. Is jobsharing an option in their current school?

They can apply for job share next Jan in current school if they have a partner to apply with.. the thought is the other person on job share is retiring next year but sure that's a guess and could go any way.. I guess with sna needs growing job security is probably relatively safe.. more and more kids presenting with needs through the primary setting. Constant cycle of reviews each September and drip feed of additional resources.

can anyone look into possibility of job sharing without a CID? Can you apply to a school in the off chance there is a teacher looking to job share with your subjects.

There should be details in the information booklet for the new role about starting salary (whether any credit is available for previous service) and pension arrangements.

can you see that online on the job application or should be provided at interview stage etc?

Booklet should be available wherever the job is advertised.
