EPH Ember App Socket Error Issue

So I have an R27 2 zone programmer two RFR thermostats and a GW01 gateway. I have the app installed on my Android phone (version 14). I have 2 separate SSID's (2.4 ghz and 5 ghz). I successfully connected the GW to the 2.4 SSID and its working okay.

However I've found that every so often I get "socket error" when I change the programmer mode or boost a zone. I tried connecting my phone to the 2.4 network but that doesn't resolve the issue. It eventually seems to resolve itself for a while but comes back again.

I raised a case with EPH on this but haven't received a response yet.

Has anyone here had this issue?

    Thanks.
