Would flying from Belfast be an option? We always flew from Dublin but after an utter shitshow with Tui in 2022 we decided to give Jet2 a try from Belfast and it was utterly amazing.

We're going back to Tenerife this year, 10 nights half board is costing us £2,200 for 2 adults and 2 kids at a great hotel.

EXACT same holiday from Dublin with Love holidays is €3,700

Easyjet holidays also an option from Belfast.

Belfast airport is just soooo easy and calm

Have a look at TUI Holidays, we've used them on a few occasions and have got great value. Mind you my dates can usually be flexible which might help with the cost.

If TUI still have their sale on, with free child places, there might be value to be had

We got 14 nights half board in Salou in mid-July, 2+1, flying to Reus, for just over €3k

Same, or very similar, holiday with Budget or loveholidays was over €1k more

Usually better value with Canaries over mainland Spain

have you guys considered Egypt for your holiday this year? I think it could be a great destination without breaking the bank. The Red Sea beaches like Hurghada are beautiful in the summer and perfect for relaxing. You're also near amazing historic sites - Luxor is a must with its temples and tombs. Taking a Nile cruise is such a unique way to see it all up close too. And if the kids want something fun, check out Cairo for a day or two - see the pyramids and hop on a hot air balloon ride! There are also great resort deals available in July/August. Egypt has something for everyone at every budget. You definitely won't spend a fortune like past trips abroad you could also check out other places you could visit https://gowithguide.com/blog/egypt-tourism-statistics-2023-all-you-need-to-know-5312 . I hope this would help you!
