Why do apps need more room everytime you update them?

This really passes me off. Yes I have a **** phone with not much memory in it but surely if the app is already in it then it should not need more room when it us being updated. Would love to update my phone to something with more memory and better but I also believe in using something till its no longer viable to use it and can not afford to change at tge moment. Also I really have not got a clue what the next phone is I want except for a mid spec phone with at least 64gp memory and a brilliant camera.

That’s just how it is. Time for an upgrade. Nokia g42 5g is 19.99 on Vodafone at the moment.

Pay as you go, when you switch from another network (or just get a sim from eir for €10 to use to switch). It comes network unlocked so you can use a sim from any network in it.

you could also chance using a 48/Lyca sim if you have one hanging around although they are not officiallly eligible for the deal so safer to go with a eir sim.
