Is there any restrictions on the type of car/jeep that a driving test is done in? Are they expecting all the mod cons or 2005 jeep do with all its justice charms, NCT all up to date

Make sure all lights and horn and wipers work and tyres are good as they might do a look over it before use.

Might depend on the tester I think. One of ours got a big fat slob who complained when the car went over speed bumps. It was mechanically fine but a little squeaky. They didn't pass that time!

  • No. As long as it’s road worthy you are fine.

you also need to show how to check & fill oil, coolant level and windscreen reservoir as well as potentially use it so make sure they’re all good as well! And obviously you know where they are with your eyes closed 🤣

It's a 2005, not 1955! What 'mod-cons' is it missing? Even the most base spec Land Rover Defenders would have had all the basics in 2005. As long as it's clean and roadworthy there shouldn't be any issues.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.
