We have a Scala2 booster pump that is leaking from the bottom. Seems like this happens a lot and the pump is not reliable. Wondering if there is a better alternative that will fit into the same set up?

We use it to provide pressure to the shower mainly. Also to hot water taps. Would not be interested in a significantly weaker pump. Would not rule out paying more for something more reliable.

The Scala2 has given a lot of trouble. They say the latest versions are improved, but there has been unsuccessful attempts to resolve various issues previously, so it’s hard to be confident. Grundfos are major pump manufacturer and usually make very reliable products so it’s disappointing.

I have fitted quite a few DAB EsyBox Mini 3 pumps, and have had good experiences so far. They are a constant pressure pump similar to Scala2 with a digital display and you can set target pressure.

DAB is actually owned by grundfos.
