UK Open takes place this year on March 1st to 3rd in Butlins. 158 players take to the oche in a bid to dethrone Goldfinger himself - Andrew Gilding. The top 32 from the OoM join the fray in round 4, with round 1 seeing those ranked 97-126 open proceedings alongside quilifiers and members of the challenge and development tours. round 2 will see those ranked 65-96 join and round 3 then sees the 33-64 ranked players join in.

I like this tournament and the unpredictable nature of the draw. Here's hoping someone unexpected comes out on top

Same old story, absolutely terrible on doubles on the big stage. It has to be a mental thing.

Willie O'Connor bet 6 nil by Suljovic. Suljovic took his time arriving at the board

O'Connor also loses the semi final run from his ranking

    Slevin knocked out by Woodhouse

    >O'Connor also loses the semi final run from his ranking

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,693 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Keane Barry 5-0 up v Kim hybrechts but at now it's 6-4

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,801 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

Searle was 8-2 down and managed to go 9-8 up. Usher broke his throw in deciding leg

Keane wins 10-6. Good to see him maintaining his form from the dev tour last weekend

Danish player Dreu Reus bet Jose De Sousa.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Jose lose his card, he doesn't look like he's enjoying his darts

Mickey Mansell well beaten by dobey

Hoping for anything but a Cross/Humphries final but it's looking more likely. Cross taking an age to throw against Evans trying to slow him down :-(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,863 ✭✭✭hawkwing

    Delighted for Ricky

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,816 ✭✭✭TheChrisD

Wow, what a match. The heat still on fire; no fairytale first major for Littler.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,863 ✭✭✭hawkwing

Great game, don't like the way Littler has started turning his back on the winners, 3rd time in a row i think now, crowd won't be long turning against him if he keeps it up.

Dimi vs Humph for the title

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,030 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

Shame to see Evans get destroyed in the SF, although not surprising

Presume Humphries will have too much for Dimitri

Fk me, never saw a final end like that!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,030 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

Great final, Dimi looked like he'd bottled it, fair dues to Humphries trying to quieten the booing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 564 ✭✭✭buster180

Dimi has had a few to many pints!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,615 ✭✭✭✭ArmaniJeanss

He is always that way, interviews that veer from endearing to toe-curlingly embarrassing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,030 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

I'm a fan of Dimitri but he's the king of cringe
