Air Fryer

Does anyone have an air fryer with a delay start. Given they are all digital controls I guess they cant be run off an old fashioned plug in timer.

I want to gift the airfryer to my father (Not technically savy) so this potatoes are either cooked from scratch or yesterdays boiled potatoes are reheated when he comes in for lunch.

I guess if i purchase one of these i will also need a chip (French Fry) cutter down the line. anyone got a decent one

It’s a high energy usage item, I dont think using it on its own would be recommended

A slow cookers work if you just wanted to do potatoes? Or is it chips you want?

why not use it on its own

primarily potatoes but ifs its an airfryer im sure will find the need to do chips as well

The Lidl one isn’t digital. A dial for a timer and dial for temperature.

I have one from Aldi, it does have a delay start timer on it , but it says in the Manual it's not recommended to be used if you are not there when it's running.

a air fryer is like a real fast fan oven, is it baked potatoes you are doing?

I wouldn’t recommend on its own because of the rapid heat been used, slow cooker I throw on and leave on all day
