I have been granted planning permission in November this year for an extension on our home, I had hired an architect and they have just informed me that they can't see out the project, The job has not even been put out to tender yet. I have no idea how is best to proceed and would really appreciate any advice...

If this is not the correct forum please feel free to move

    Thanks

When you say you had hired an architect. Did you hire them to see out the build to completion, or did you hire than for planning permission only?

I might seem obvious, but if they can't do it, next steps would be to find a replacement. Have a look at who is completing similar builds locally.
