I still think buskers shouldn't be amplified in the diamond, suspect they'll drive me even more mad now.

I think it looks well. It's perhaps a pity that motorbikes etc won't be allowed on the Diamond anymore as there used to be decent gatherings on Sundays. Maybe they'll find somewhere else local.

As for the buskers, you might need better ear muffs or headphones! 😁 Does that music that's sometimes pumped around the town not get on your nerve too?

dont get me started on the piped music, absolute disaster. never been anywhere where i thought needs more noise.

i did complain to the chamber many times, didnt work. its been on teams calls thats a pain (might move to the otherside of the building.

well the biker debate carries on

    https://www.donegallive.ie/news/south-donegal/1568649/motorbikers-refuse-councils-compromise-in-donegal-town-debacle.html

seems like the surface is going to be v difficult to keep clean, looks bad from spilled drinks and bird droppings already

It gives me the yips when walking across it, there is no symmetry with those lighter tiles just laid haphazardly, conflicts with my OCD 😫

Heard a bit on Highland radio this morning about a guy who sells tickets to raise funds for the "cancer bus". I didn't get the whole story but it seems he either got a parking fine from the traffic warden for parking his van in the diamond or was asked to move. Someone else might shed some info on it.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. He got fined for parking his van (which had signage regarding his collection) on the Diamond. I did notice his van on the Diamond on Saturday and did wonder how long before he'd be asked to move. Seemingly, according to article below, he was fined €250 which was more than I would've expected.

I found this short article on Ocean FM's website:

Jesus that's one ugly finish to a big project.

The ESB sub boxes on the Diamond get a bit of a facelift to help take the bad look off them ahead of St. Patrick's Day.

I've no pictures but Donegal Online on Facebook put up a short video:
