Only seeing Funeral doesn’t appeal to me tbh as much as I love it. They’re a rare band who have been consistent album through album so I’d always want a spread

First thing I thought of when I saw the gig announced. Don't think the sexual assault charges have been dealt with yet.

Would put me off going tbh. I've seen them live loads of times and they've been great but I'll hold off for now.

They'll also play plenty of songs from other albums...Funeral is only 47 minutes long and they play for around 2 hours on average.

There's a definite drop off in quality after Suburbs. The run of Funeral-Neon Bible-Suburbs was amazing.

Happy I saw them for each of those first 3 albums. Starting with that EP gig. A bit bored of these album anniversary gigs. A lot of bands doing it nowadays

That's a decent price these days alright.. I'd imagine it'll be an extra tenner for a Golden Circle ticket which I think they usually do in Malahide

Thought they weren't great last time in the 3Arena and the place was half empty (2nd night) so they will probably struggle to sell out Malahide. Think I'll give it a miss unless a cheap ticket pops up somewhere.

I’ve been getting their albums as they came out, missed seeing them for the Original Funeral tour, but have seen them once, for all tours since, a good start at Neon Bible tour gig in the Olympia. i thought the only slight album dip was Reflector, love the last two albums, very innovative live, and the last two were particularly good live gigs, the boxing ring setup for Everything Now, and the sub stage for We. The size of the crowd is irrelevant for me, but i’d say it will sell well. Will was a good addition to the live gigs. his absence was noticeable at the “We” 3 arena gig.

That Everything Now gig was great, topped off with being in the right place to have them walk past us on the way out. Only downside that idiot nicking Win’s hat after ‘we don’t deserve love’!

Wasn’t too enamoured with the album prior to it, but hearing a few of the tracks live got me onboard. Unfortunately missed the ‘We’ tour, had to give my tickets to a mate.

I thought the "We" show was a huge letdown after the EN show. The lighting/visuals weren't as good and it didn't feel as if the band had as much energy. I think you are right about missing Will.

I was right at the barrier at the B stage, and it was different to EN, but worked for me, i prefer they try new ways of performing live than repeat what they already did, to be able to get two totally different pics within a few songs of each other, without moving was great. They really made great use of it, multiple trips off the main stage to it.

I was there, found it a pretty miserable experience to be honest. Apparently the night before was full and much better.

Ive seen AC about five times now but the loss of Will, the last few mediocre albums, the concert being on a Sunday and the general ball-ache of trying to get home from Malahide means I’ll give this one a miss.
