Atm ptsb retained cash

Hi can anyone please help I tried to lodge cash to my account via the atm. It took my cash and a message popped up on the screen saying "cash retained" I got no receipt and the lodgement never made it to my account. Bank holiday weekend so I can't contact anyone until Tuesday 😥

Call them up on Tuesday. They have a way of reconciling things.

This, most likely it couldn't read some of the notes, or there were duds. Ring them on Tuesday and it will sorted quickly.

Won't be an issue.

Back in the day when people used cash in shops, I'd lodge weekly into aib machines. (These days so little cash comes in, it's less than once a month)

Now and then there would be a failure notice. They just took my details and a few hours later they'd call me to confirm the amount. It was always correct.

The machine keeps every lodgement separate and it gets manually checked.
