    1. What is your budget? €1500-1700, based on what I have already seen online for what I think I need (see below for what I have in mind). Would prefer to keep it to around 1500 if possible.

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? I want to run Unity software and Unreal Engine and start learning how to design games. Also will use it for gaming.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes. Windows 11. Do I need pro?

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No. This is my first time attempting to build a pc.

    5. Do you need a monitor? No. I have a Dell monitor here at home but not sure it is up to spec.

5a. If yes, what size do you need. Not sure.

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future?

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [Keyboard/Mouse/Wireless Card/Card Reader/Speakers/etc.] Yes need most of this I think.

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? No

    8. How can you pay? PayPal /Debit Card/ Online with card

    9. When are you purchasing? Summer 2024

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? No thanks.

Win 11 Pro only has some fairly specific use features, mostly meant for business environments.

    https://www.xda-developers.com/windows-11-home-vs-windows-11-pro/

And don't pay €200 for a Windows key, they're about €25 on any reputable key seller site.

Look at switching the 4070 to a 4070 Super.

Buying into AM4 and this late, and not AM5, will be an upgrade dead end in future though. Are you really set on it?

Thank for the help! I tried to make another build around your advice but it ended up a little to expensive. Any ideas how to make it cheaper? I would like to put it down to around €1700. Just so you know these were the general prices I found.

MSI MAG A750GL PCIE5 Power Supply Unit, 750W EUR 118.8

ROG Strix B650-A Gaming WiFi AMD Ryzen AM5 ATX motherboard  EUR 245.92

    AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Desk-top Processor (8-core/16-thread, 104MB cache, up to 5.0 GHz max boost) EUR 434.34

    CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB)  EUR 139.23

DeepCool CH560 DIGITAL ATX Airflow case, Dual Status Display, 3x Pre-Installed 140mm ARGB Fans EUR 135.64

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER WINDFORCE OC Graphics Card.  EUR 714.35

    Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD (MZ-V8P2T0BW), 2 TB, PCIe 4.0, 7,000 MB/s Read, 5,000 MB/s Write. EUR 178.83

Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE CPU Air Cooler, PA120 SE, 6 Heat Pipes Cpu cooler.  EUR 36.71

CPU cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit - this is the newer model with an extra heatpipe & better fans.

Motherboard: Drop down to something like MSI PRO B650M-A WIFI.

RAM: G.Skill or Kingston. DDR5-6000 CL36 is affordable now.

GPU: Avoid Gigabyte. ASUS DUAL is cheap yet one of the best models to buy.

SSD: Go Lexar NM790. Same speed as Samsung for 50eur less.

Case: Your choice. If you're trying to save budget I'd cut costs here, e.g. go for a Jonsbo D41 / D41 Mesh instead. ASUS AP201 Prime is a good option, too.

    That's a good 250eur saved.

These components seem to be well-selected for a high-performance PC
build, but the availability and compatibility of some parts, especially
the graphics card, may vary depending on the current market conditions.
