A dpc detail...

Dpc tray in black resting on top of the finished floor. Radon DPM underneath in grey. Radon DPM is flat across the house on top of subfloor.

In my mind water that comes down the dpc tray rolls off and onto the sliver of radon dpm. A percentage of it falls outside and isn't an issue.

But (in my mind) a certain percentage also goes back over the radon dpm (i.e. between the plastic sandwich) under the blocks and into the insulation which sits on top of the subfloor.

Am I making sense in my thinking here? The sign off Engineer, the builder, and a architect have not given any solid opinions on this to reassure me.
