    Hi,

I’m confused to choose the right place to buy a house in terms of safety, transportation to dublin city, future value, schools, hospitals and other amenities. Could you please help to provide your insights on which would be a best place to buy a house Maynooth or Hollystown?

    Hi

Firstly, very very different areas. Hollystown is basically a few housing estates at the edge of Dublin. Maynooth is a well established country town a bit outside Dublin.

Second, Hollystown would be quite small with similar houses. Maynooth is much larger and one part of Maynooth could be very different to another part of Maynooth.

    On the things you mentioned:

Transportation: Hollystown nearer to Dublin but Maynooth has train line.

Amenities: Maynooth would have far more. But then Hollystown would be driving distance from things Maynooth would have, like Phoenix Park for example.

Future Value: Nobody can really answer this. (Some people thing they can).

Hospitals: Hollystown closer, if you have a car.
