good value bank account to switch to

Having paid off my mortgage AIB have informed me I'll shortly be paying fees.

Any recommendations on an alternative bank for my current account, how many are left even.

I also have revolut and Credit union.

Combo at no cost. EBS (salary) + Revolut (payments and direct debit). EBS is free but no app and basic service.

I moved to n26.

Great app and no hassle at all. You need to pay for a physical card and have limited cash withdrawal per month. No branches of course but you have the credit union for any cash or cheques.

I use EBS for my salary/direct debits and Revolut for my day to day spending.

EBS online banking is very basic, but does the job.

Apart from the ability to lodge cash or checks, I don't think there's anything you can't do with digital banks compared to traditional banks. Even with their free offerings, at least with Revolut and N26 which are the two I know.

Is it possible to live only with a digital bank? Or are there still cases where you'll need a traditional bank account? IBAN discrimination still a thing?
