One hygienist I attend uses quite a powerful jet to clean the gums

A couple of other cleans I've had the jet is not so intense

Yes, depends on the type of equipment, and the power setting used.

    Evening all! 😊

Where (in Dublin city) can I get a tongue scraper?

Each hygienist has their own technique and comfort level with using these devices. Some may prefer a more aggressive approach while others might opt for a gentler method depending on their assessment of your oral health.

Variations in jet intensity during dental cleanings can result from differences in equipment settings, individual hygienist techniques, and patient-specific factors such as sensitivity levels.

That must be Nigel with the brie...

I used to have a hygienist who used the jet so powerfully that it was actually painful on the gums, but it was a good cleaning. After that I had one who was very gentle but the results were never as good.
