Are there any extremely temporary jobs that somebody can just hop in and out of?

I'm currently unemployed and searching for jobs in my industry.

But I would be happy to just do some basic work until I land a job.

Licking envelopes in an office or something.

And the second I land a job in my industry I can just say "bye, I quit" and walk out the door 10 seconds later without any hassle.

Does that sort of thing exist? I remember many years ago hearing about "temping agencies" but can't find anything like that online.

I believe the catering in Pairc Ui Chaoimh is completely casual work (or it was before the pandemic). I think every job has a notice period, however for them before they would message are you available to work on X date and it was up to you to say yes or no
