Hi Has anyone got any information regarding the 7000 series tv ..which apparently have a known defect causing them to fail after a relatively short time..3 years in my case.

I was told by my repair technician that you can get a full refund from the retailer as this is very common issue affecting many customers. Anyone know if this is true,
