    Hi there

Would really appreciate help to understand...

We have sale agreed on semi d Estate house built 2006. Never did anything to house re extend etc. Purchasers solicitors want a new engineer cert of Compliance on their Law Society approved form. Is this usual? I cant find an engineer to do this as they all saying the cert is with Bank and that should do.

    Any guidance much appreciated

Its not unusual at all for up to date certification to be requested and you dont necessarily have to use the original engineer to get the cert.

Im a little lost on this comment .."they all saying the cert is with Bank" What do you mean by "all"? Have you asked more than one engineer to provide a new cert?

They have requested a cert of compliance with what exactly?

What do you mean the cert is with the bank?
