how are people expected to use, navigate, contribute to and enjoy boards with these sorts of advertisements ?

Is boards now an advertisement platform that has discussion or a discussion site that is partially funded by discreet and appropriate advertising ? Well there is nothing discreet or appropriate about this ^^^ so…. I’m using a brand new tablet to peruse boards and the scrolling effort to exit the advertisement/screen blocker takes several goes before it registers. Often I need to refresh the page.

there genuinely has to be a way of making money that doesn’t involve giving your users the two fingers like this, really, where is your leadership boards ??? Sort it please ! This is coming up every 60 seconds or thereabouts.

This ad should absolutely not be making its way onto site. It completely blocks all content. I will have it blocked straight away.

But surely on mobile there should be some sort of filter at the Vanilla end that prevents any advert that is too big from appearing on the users screen?

Could you confirm if you are still seeing these ads (in incognito mode)? The ads from this particular provider have been blocked. But Snigel want to run further tests.

Yes, I’m still getting them as of 2 mins ago.

no other site is anything appearing or and weirdness, seems just boards.
