I stopped on a hill, but I didn't put the gearbox into park. Car rolls down hill. Lesson learned.

It's a strange game Jim, but interesting. I took a break from it about a month ago, but will get back into it.

You should try it as it is different.

Holding out on the smooth 60fps update. An update dropped yesterday I believe that added a performance mode, but early comments saying it has improved, but still not 60. I shall continue to patiently wait.

I spent 90 hours playing this (so far). I never thought I would plough that much time into it.

The first time I played it, I spent a few hours basically getting familiar with upgrading your car. Once I got that figured out, I restarted it.

There are different gameplay setting, so you can adjust the difficulty etc. It's a very good game and totally worth the asking price. I got serious value for money playing it.

I see you picked this up Zero. Good man. Good man.

I did indeed, 17 for the deluxe edition seemed a great price. Looking forward to driving the broken road.

Has there been any improvement on the framerate? Anyone have it on the Pro? Tempted by the price myself but online seems to indicate its still waiting for a stability update.

Picked this up for €18 on the sale, finally made the plunge so probably coming to PS+ next month. I'm liking it, and the idea, but I don't really know what I'm doing. Feel like I missed some important dialogue. I've only done a couple of missions, but not sure if I should follow the main path/story or explore. I was exploring, but I see the zones you explore are inaccessible afterwards, so don't wanna mess up something.

Should I just be concentrating on the main story for now or is it ok to explore? Pick up all those yellow things being the priority, but I feel with locking out the zones I'm possibly messing up a future run? There's quite a lot to it too, and I'm still at the beginning. It does that horrible first-tools-break-easily thing, and no immediate upgrade obvious. Also feel like I'm spending too much time on foot, drive the road, stop at place of interest, gather everything, use all the health packs because something is taking health off me when I'm not in the car… still trying to figure out what all the different icons and warning lights mean on the route planner.

Also not a pick up and play kinda game, needs some proper planning before each zone. But I'm on board for now. Performance wise, it does dip. I've left it on PS5 Pro mode because putting it in performance mode is a big visual drop (no raindrops on windscreen, for example) and it's stable most the time, does dip a bit when things happen so not sure what it'll be like when a proper storm hits. Off tomorrow so should get a good bit of time into it.

Finally decided to give this a proper go, went on my first run and loving it. Then life called so i had to quit to find you can't save quit and pick back up when free again. You have to go back to the garage and lose most items. I changed the settings to keep all my items to make up for this slightly. I thought most of these games now a days had a save and quit game with the save being deleted when load back up? Anyone know when i load it back up do i have to complete the quests on the run again?

Went back and found i hadn't lost much pieces so completed first run and headed out again with a clearer idea of what I'm meant to do. Grieved but arc things, activated a gateway to head home. Hhhmm that music sounds ominous. Why is my rearview mirror all red. What the **** is the red all over the map?? Holy **** car is surrounded in red. A literal shitstorm of me not being able to see anything, getting thrown around and dying fairly quickly.

Note to self, wait until closer to a gateway before activating it in future. Looked cool though.

Driving in the rain looks so realistic.

Zero, I hope you are listening to the jukebox in the garage and the car radio while out on the roads. Some great tunes in the game.
