Checking if line speed to home can take higher speed?

Hi Guys.....apologies if this has been asked before but does your provider automatically give you the highest speed on your signed up plan both download and upload? I am getting into streaming and I would like to have higher upload speed than the current 5mbs.....my download is good at 35mbs. My provider is Eir.

You must be on a copper line. Check your eircode on sky website to see if you can get fibre broadband. Speeds of up to 1Gb/s available
