    Hi All,

Looking for advice on ideas for location of first holiday abroad with a 3 year old & 1 year old this April/May

We ideally would like to fly from Cork Airport as live approx 30 min from it. Anyone who has done something similar & where would you recommend?

Eurocamp ? Some of our best holidays with small kids were in mobile homes in France.

Have a look at H10 Lanzarote Gardens. Can fly with Ryanair or Aer Lingus from Cork. 20min transfer to airport.

The hotel have a range of accommodation types and is fully centred on families with even a kids club for the one year old! Beach is across the road with loads of shops and supermarkets nearby. We didn't bother with the full or half board only B&B as there are loads of lovely restaurants, bars and cafes nearby.

If you fancy a ferry from Cork to Roscoff and a campsite stay I can recommend there too but weather might be better in Lanzarote in April/May.

Ask away if you have any questions.

I'd recommend checking out Spain. Places like Costa del Sol or Costa Blanca are popular choices. They've got nice beaches, family-friendly resorts, and plenty of activities for kiddos. As for flying from Cork Airport, you can look into flights to Malaga or Alicante.

I'd echo this one. We went there the Jan before Covid with a 10 month old & found it fantastic! The area it was in was lovely with the beach nearby. The hotel itself was great with good entertainment. Our 10 month old was able to go into the kids club (we had to stay with for the first time but after that he was allowed in for up to 2 hours a day at the specific session). They ring if there's an issue & you have to stay onsite but we used it a couple of times to have a lazy breakfast. Also the place was so clean it was amazing!

Another option that we went to with a then 3 year old is Tagoro in Tenerife. Found it really good as a hotel. Lots of facilities & entertainment. We got a room that had a hot tub outside it for our private use. Meant we could put our son to bed & chill out with a couple of drinks in it. Also they can help with a babysitting service. It was a local older woman who we met & ended up using twice so that we could go out for dinner. My son loved her & she stayed in the resort playground & our room with him. Kids club wasn't open in it when we were there but this was still during Covid so that's probably changed.
