If a full RCBO board was being installed, is there a need for a neutral bar? Or is double pole bussbar across sufficient?

    does that comply with regulations?

There’s nothing specific in regs about a neutral bar

id say it’s preferable to have one though

depending on how many rcbo’s you have or rows on the board, you may need a few neutral cables to feed the bottom of each neutral bar. You will also have some circuits not requiring rcd protection (cooker etc)and these neutrals will need termination points.

I also think that a full rcbo distribution board is the way to go. For the minimal additional cost it makes sense.

It’s not for a domestic premises, it’s for a shed, can’t find the neutral bar so I’ve linked out each row (3) of RCBO’s with supply sized flexible L+N, All circuits can be wired through their own RCBO. Thanks for your answer! Also, what would be the cable size for a 32A supply for a Vacuum pump? 6sq?

Good stuff. Yeah 6mm should be adequate for 32amp.

    Yes it complies.

But one way or another there will be a neutral bar, it just may be in the form of double pole busbar. What is important is that all connections are well made, tight and there are no instances of trying to jam too many cables into a single terminal.

Assuming that double pole busbar is used, this provides multiple points to solidly connect neutrals cables to the neutral (into the bottom of the RCBO's on top of the neutral pole of the busbar).
