Possibly the wrong forum but I have looked.. I am looking at buying a sim free android phone from a shop in newry for my son. Would it work down south? I assume it would as its sim free but don't want to take the risk as its expensive. Would anyone know anything about this.? TIA

It will work OK if it's definitely sim free.
