Redmi phone for son

Hey all.

Got a phone for junior for Xmas.

Was told to set up Parental Controls. It set up to an old Gmail account, that I don't have the password for. Big pain for me now. I just want to reset the phone, but I can't as its coming up that I have to contact the IT Admin. Damn it.

Is there any work around this, bar bringing it to a phone repair guy?

I somehow got to reset the password. No need for system reset. Phew. Now I have another problem, how to keep track of him on Snapchat & ticktock.
