I was thinking of a new Tesla model 3 but just can’t get enough cash together for it.

What would you do with 35k to spend on an EV.

family of three.

new or second hand?

I’d suggest 2nd hand given your budget, you’ll get very little new for that money. I’d consider something like this new shape Kia Niro https://www.donedeal.ie/view/35638347. If you need more space, get a 77kWh ID.4 but you’ll probably end up a well specced 2021 car or a 2022 base model at that money.

Save yourself a few quid and buy a used Model 3 privately. You can get a 2022 for €35k easily.
