Can you order new plates for an older car with pre-drilled screw holes ?

Halfords should be able to do this, they can fit it for you too for a fee. Otherwise most garages should be able to sort this out for you.

Alternatively you can get non-drilled plates and just use mounting tape (i.e Gorilla tape) to hold it in place. Cleaner look too, depends what you're after.

No need to drill. Get black plastic plate surrounds. Then they just clip in.

Ye, +1 for good quality double sided tape.

I was changing some once to get rid of dealer plates that were tek-screwed straight into the vehicles metal body work which had already started to go rusty from them around the holes. Not great on a 1 year old car.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

How do you attach the plate surrounds to the car? You're going to have to drill them or stick them to the car, so why not just drill/stick the reg plate and save a few €?

The black surrounds are pre drilled so you can use the oem screw sockets in the front bumper.

Plus it looks much better and neater than having screws through the reg plate.

You’re probably not into that sort of thing so either option will be fine.
