Caio Benicio is the deliveroo rider that got off his bike and hit the attacker on Parnell Street yesterday. The man's a bona fide hero.

Whatever about getting him a pint, maybe a decent tip, if he ever delivers grub to you. Or if you see him on the street give him a few quid and say thank you.

And maybe while we are at it, show a small bit of respect to the rest of these hard working lads... Who do a job no Irish would consider.

Brazilians are, in my experience, extremely hard-working, virtuous and religious people with a similar work ethic and approach to life as yer average Irish man or woman.

Similar to the Poles, they are generally a credit wherever they go.

Both of these heroes, the teacher who defended the children and this delivery driver Ciao, who rose up to protect our children deserve more.

Perfect opportunity for our government to take action honour both of these fearless individuals with a grand gesture.

Well done for starting this, OP. To think!! Caio probably woke up yesterday without a pot to pee in. One act of unselfish bravery, and now he is a wealthy man. And very deservedly so. I wish him and his family all the very best. Keeping the little injured girl very much in my thoughts and prayers.
