No results yet from the interviews of the last batch so it will probably depend how quick they get through the panel. It seems to be a very slow competition though!

Got my results yesterday, delighted to have passed. I wish we got our regional places though as I have no idea how many have Sligo/Leitrim down!! Anyone who placed on the last batch able to throw any light on number for this area?

Delighted though with the scores I got in each competency and fingers crossed that a position will come on this panel…..🤞🤞

Hi, I doubt it would be before the Summer. My understanding is that they don't start the next batch of interviews until all successful candidates from the previous round of interviews have been placed in HEO roles. But that's just my own guess, I could be wrong.

I emailed HR with this question and the response I got was this generic response I can advise that order of merit 1-20 have been called for interview, we don’t have an expected timeline for further Tranches.

Emailed them today. They have not called anyone after 20. They don't know when they will be calling the next trenches

I know one person offered and refused it and another that took that place other than that haven't heard of anyone else. I am in the next tranche not holding out much hope

At least there has been some movement. Can I ask what part of the country that was for? Hopefully if they get this tranche cleared you will be called after the summer.

Defer to the next tranche .. if there is one...the only dates they are holding interviews are from 2nd to 8th July

just know ur form as the questions will be based on ur examples. know the strategies, underperformance, delegation, if u were a Heo in the morning the steps you'd take , know about pmds, PIP, public values, getting buy in, putting a project in place and carrying it through, how you make decisions.

I did my interview back in November. There's no time for waffle - they were really strict with time if it was 7 mins for a competency, they stopped after 7 mins..I hardly referred to my original application form - a year had elapsed and I reworked the competencies and introduced new examples.

I posted this here at the time….It may help a little

Questions were quite focused on what I did to demonstrate 'leadership' 'delivery of results' etc. A few interruptions looking for some specifics or things I might have done differently. Relatively straightforward in terms of questions obviously it's whether I gave them what they wanted.

Just make sure you have 5 key examples and a couple of supplementary ones for back up.

The time is an issue, I felt very conscious of being against the clock.

had my interview today, definitely the hardest interview I ever did. I think I done a bit of waffling when they asked specific questions. But I think my competency answers were pretty solid. Interviews are finished today, how long does it take for results to issue?

I heard interview results have already been issued so they were really quick this time around. There are probably still people waiting to be placed from the last tranche though.
