I'm just wondering if anyone bought an affordable house circa 2005 from sdcc and if anyone has sold these properties. I'm looking at selling in next few months. Just eondering about clawback and would I get anything from sale or does it all go to council.thanks in advance

    Depends on your contract.

Easy enough to get a copy from council if you dont have.

Contracts from my council in 2007 included clawback of any profit over a property value set by the council at the time.

If sold clawback was 50% up as far as 10 years ownership reducing by 5% each year after that. So after 20 years all profits are kept by property owner.
