Has anyone any experience on light surveys and the ‘Right to Light’ concerning neighbouring property? What did the survey entail and what did it cost please if you have?

I've only done it across the water years ago - for an office development - a lot of modelling and quite expensive.
Cost will depend on the scale of the project - number of buildings / owners potentially affected.
Is it a Right to Light assessment you need or just a Daylight and Sunlight Assessment?
Like everything else you can get quotes from a number of companies - expect a variety of prices.
My most recent Daylight & Sunlight in the north for a modest project of 4no. houses - although had to assess all 4 sides of the site - quotes ranged from about £3k to £5k.
