Chasing up interview

I have had two interviews (and a trial) in the past few weeks.

I’ve another trial scheduled for Sunday and a few interviews on my days off next week.

Honestly and truly I would rather spend my days off as days off and I have a strong feeling (positively) about one of the interviews and the outcome.

i haven’t heard back since doing the trial earlier this week but I was considering sending a quick email just to enquire?

How well do you think emails will be received?

(Many people here will find the very idea of trials, and that any useful information can come from a one-day trial, quite strange. I get that it's a thing in your field, but I don't have a clue how an email would be seen - or even if it would be read.)

I don’t think it would be taken badly necessarily but I don’t want to seem annoying or impatient! 😅

Well what was your arrangement with them? Did you ask them what their timeline was? Did they say when you could expect feedback? If you have an agreed deadline and you have not heard back, then follow it up, otherwise give them a bit more time.
