What does the Israeli government think shown Hamas video will gain

We all know that Hamas did many awful things ? Why is the Isreal government shown videos as if it’s film? we know what happened , equally is not the word to use as the Israeli response has been far more dissportional , but we could equally show Israel doing far more massacres… do they actually think we are dumb.
