BER assessment from plans

    Hi,


    I'm building an extension. Can a BER assessor tell what my house will be after the extension is build just from the plans?

    They should be able to give an opinion if you have a detailed specification. The models are a tick box exercise rather than a measurement basis. They will probably charge and it will have no standing even when the building is complete but if you went back to the assessor it should be no problem submitting it to SEAI after a quick check.
