Working a nightshift. No manager, can check my facebook in peace, no phones hopping off the wall as they would during a dayshift...bliss...

Awake for last two hours... 4 am has been my waking time last few weeks. I'll probably doze off for an hour around 6ish which is OK but sleep pattern definitely having an impact on my mood latety

Awake for a couple of hours but my sleep pattern has been all over the place for a few weeks now. I alternate between falling asleep early and then waking up early like now. Or being awake late and getting up around this time. Sleeping right through to my alarm hasn’t happened in a few weeks.

Yeah couldn’t sleep myself either! Haven’t worked a night shift in over 4 years since my last job at the airport! Tbh I feel I am more productive on night shift than day shift as I can concentrate on what needs doing!

Trying to curtail my late nights. Rolling it back weekly by a half hour.

But then I just throw that plan out

I like the late of the night it’s a peaceful time.

Is a rather nice productive day and my mindset is relaxed and I’m not so tired, too late to watch a film, too not in the mood to play PS5… so what else I gotta do….nada..

On the old Boards site, the number of people logged in, was visible. At 2 in the morning, when you saw number of members plus visitors, you didn’t quite feel alone.

Now, who knows how many of us are browsing away on the site in the wee small hours, pity.

It would be interesting to see where in the world they are browsing from too.

Ah I'm a really bad sleeper. Gonna read for a while and try again. Withdrawals too. I'm in for a rough weekend.

Don’t know. The only good thing is I’m off tomorrow but I’d like to just get six or seven hours sleep and can’t.

Tonsillitis as a 36 year old means either no sleep at all or if manage to get few hours sleep waking up drowned in sweat.

Thanks Boards for some easy reading.

Lots of yoghurt? Does that help the tonsils? Would you not consider getting them out or is that encouraged nowadays?
