Huawei B628-265 router

hi guys am very new to the prepay braoadband via simcard and router.

i picked up the Huawei B628-265 router and its locked to eir,any ideas on how i could get it unlocked ??.

also what would be the best prepay crowd to go for with vodafone eir three ?

and last question what would be a good recommended outdoor antenna for the router to boost signal?.

Hey, I use this modem with eir and it works perfectly. I recommend them! Nd yes that antenna looks like it would do the job

what download speeds are you getting and are you in a town or out in a rural place?.

also do you use a outdoor antenna with it ?.

Around 200-400 download and 135 upload with Eir, they’re great. I’m rural aswell, I don’t use an outdoor antenna but for better results I’d recommend you use one.

I set it up here and only getting 5mb down which is very poor,that's with the indoor antenna white square face thin box.

Here's a link to the antenna that came with it,seems more like a indoor antenna than the proper outdoor one I linked a few posts above.
