EO Question

So, I’ve been a CO for over 2 years now and am keen to progress to EO. My only concern is that I left school early and didn’t sit the leaving cert. I have heard that the LC is necessary to apply for EO jobs or an equivalent course would be. Would anyone have any idea what kind of courses would be suitable? I enjoy my job and really want to further my career in the civil service but am worried this will set me back.
