Management Experience required

    Hi,

I'm currently not in a management position in my current role in the public sector. However I am interested in a junior management role in the civil service.

I can't get management experience in my current position without getting promoted which isn't gonna happen anytime soon.

Anything I can do either in my current role or outside of the job to show people management/leadership. I don't think education is the answer either as I need practical experience.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.
