BnM briquettes

Does anyone know where you can get BnM Briquettes this year for a normal price.

The usual places Aldi/ Woddies etc do not stock them this year and a petrol garage had them prices at 11.50. Last year I could get them for 6.50 to 7 euro per 12.5kg bail

May not suit you depending on where you are based but Ganlys had a reasonable price on them the last time I was there about a month ago and their site lists them at the same price now.

They haven't been made since June and never will be again, so there is limited stock. There has been an increase in carbon tax also. So the prices you're seeing are the normal prices.

That seems dear. The local XL Corner shop here has them at €7.50

That's a great price Jim_Hodge, cheapest besides Ganly's I've seen is near €11.

Is there anywhere in the south Dublin area that has these in stock? Haven't seen any in local garages or shops I've looked in. I know they've stopped producing them but supposedly enough stock left until 2025...

You won't get them anymore, they were supposed to finish up this year 2024 but date was moved earlier June 1st last yr. I'm not sure if what your buying is the real BNM briquettes or the imported ones.

We always went there in April for ton load on trailer, done us the year with turf & wood, didn't get a chance to go last yr as found out too late they done a clearance for 350 a load instead of the normal 450,

yeah think last load were delivered before Xmas, local top line providers advertised as last load from BNM, we have some buried under the turf/wood I'll look for one that's intact and frame it, it might be worth something one day😅
